 It's going to be a beautiful day Saturday at Blueberry Park in Franklin Park .  It's community day and all are invited for a day full of fun, children activities, live music and Pretzel Crazy! The day is capped off with a fabulous fireworks display. The fun all starts at 2:30 and goes until well after dark

For one night only, many of Pittsburgh's best restaurants and bars will come together to offer an amazing selection of delectable edibles and liberating libations. Their donations in support of the Mattress Factory are included in the cost of your ticket to the Urban Garden Party.

We're very excited that London-based Eclectic Method will be throwing down an extra-special headlining set from 9:00 PM to 11:00PM. This will be their first-ever performance in Pittsburgh and we're glad they've chosen us for their debut

Also lending artistic elements to the evening will be DJ Omar Abdul, Artists Tim Kaulen & Sean Derry, drum performances by Northside Urban Pathways Charter School (supported by Plastic Surgery of Pittsburgh), and skateboarders from Mr. Smalls Funhouse. We'll also have performances by Evolve Productions and the Pittsburgh Heat Hip Hop Dance Company. More artists and performers are being announced daily. Tomorrow at the Embassy Suites in Coraopolis join Pretzel Crazy to help raise money for the Young Women's Breast Cancer Foundation at their annual Fashion Show and Lunch.  We'll be offering lots of Pink pretzels in Just Plain Crazy and Signature to help this organization. 10 -1pm

It's finally a beautiful day in the Burgh and Pretzel Crazy is outside at Court Time Sports Complex in Elizabeth PA.  We are introducing the latest addition - Twisted Twix which combines a fresh baked Pretzel Rod doused in Caramel, smothered in Milk Chocolate and rolled in Twix cookie pieces.  The whole thing is drizzled with a fine ribbon of milk chocolate.   Visit us if you can 11 - 7

Believe it or not, Monday is National Pretzel Day, which Gov. Ed Rendell re-declared as a national holiday in April 2003.
“It figures Rendell declared the holiday: He’s a Philly guy,” says Sheri Powell, who owns Pretzel Crazy in the North Hills and started her business last spring after encouragement from her son, Ryan. Powell had been making sweet, hand-dipped pretzels as gifts for years before going pro. Now, she offers 15 varieties in three sizes.
Pretzel Crazy’s bestseller is the “Cashew Caboodle,” a four-inch pretzel rod dipped in caramel then milk chocolate and covered in cashew pieces and white-chocolate drizzle. Other favorites include “Peanut Butter Burst,” made with Reese’s Pieces, and the “Straight Jacket,” made with white and milk chocolates.
